Is that a mini head of broccoli I see peeking through the leaves?The garden status is as follows: shamelessly overgrown and full of weeds. The weather continues to be quite hot with plenty intense rain bouts, so the plants are managing to thrive despite my sheer neglect. Still, something must be done soon! I need to stop baking cakes and get my hands dirty out there.
OK, one last wedding cake this weekend and I am done for a while. Promise.
We're enjoying these courgettes sliced very thinly on pizzas with wild boar sausage.
Is that corn getting taler than I am?? Not hard to do.
As Noah-the-backseat-driver always chants "Red means stop and green means go" but not in the case of these sweet cherry tomatoes. Full speed ahead to pick those red ones!

Young onions. SO GOOD thinly sliced on a burger. I can't believe this is my first time to grow onions. They are such fun!

A few baby carrots; the rest are in desperate need of thinning. The purple color is just starting to show.

All those veggies are beautiful Aimée! But I have to say those carrots are my favorites, so cute!
Have you tried doing anything with the zucchini (courgette) flowers. They are wonderful stuffed, and anyway hugely expensive so it sees like a great way to take advantage of growing them yourself.
Wow! Your garden is beautiful. How nice that you are able to grow your own veggies. The extent of my gardening are herbs grown in my Aerogarden.

I only have tomatoes and herbs due to the space and soil we have but I a in love with yours...especially the zucchini flowers and the onion!
